I just didn't kick it back far enuff.Alright... I concede. Maybe it is a little bit of a punky Brewster.

Have you been holding back...?After playing grim reaper this morning, I stopped by the chateau for casualization.
While it wasn't on my mind at the time, I suspect that I subconsciously chose this one because of that fantastic Tonak that @mayserwegener hit us with yesterday. Must've made me envious...
It's a 1930s Dobbs. A very kind gentleman in Missouri entrusted it and two other of his late father's hats (the teal Game Bird & a Knapp-Felt derby) to me. I will forever be honored by that gesture.

Thanks Alan. That's what happens to me when I see the vast majority of your hats! Simply put: there just is nothing in the world like a beautiful old hat....knocks the wind right out of me.

Thanks Ant. And yeah... that No. 1 is perfect for you and it's a beautiful hat to boot.
Thanks, Bob. And no way, man! I've posted it a few times before.
Drool... fantastic Whippet!
You sound a lot like me. Of course, it's a hell of a lot better than having it up somebody else's.Wlcm. Musta had my head up my butt
Matt, Blue... thank you for the thoughts. I am much better. And I've recently discovered the mute button on my TV. The person who invited that should get the Nobel prize for medicine.

You keep wearing that lid Blue! Breaking it in is a good thing. Can't wait to see the new one.Waiting for a Stetson 3X beaver to arrive -- until then, just gonna have to keep wearing the L&C for BB! First. World. Problems.
I have a meeting on campus with the daughter of a 1942 Rose Bowl alumni, I think I'll wear mine in solidarity.HW Hats pecan beaver lid today...
Mountie Michael! Love the red Woolrich. I need one.A cold one this morning. Norm Thompson - Resistol Shikari that I am exploring open crown with.

Need further work, but I think I am liking it. The extra insulation space at least is good today. And a whole lot of Woolrich gear to accompany.

Great hat and sweater combo again Perry. You are the king.
Michael
Looks so soft and warm. Such a beautiful old example of early century Stetson quality.Thank you for your comments Cindy and Matt and for the likes for yesterday's photo. I've not been feeling like myself for a while and I've drifted out of touch with day to day hat adventures. Here is a simple little old furry number sold at Saks maybe ninety years ago. I think I will bring it with me on a trip to the city next week.
You are No. 1 for sure Moon! A super Stetson! This No.1 Quality is so comfortable and fits my personality and disposition so well that I think I'll just leave it on for a few days
