tommyK - Whoa! That Alessandria is too much. I may have to take a run over to 13th Ave on Sunday to check one out. What does the crown measure when open?

Joao- looking good as always.
AlwaysJoao, holding it down with the big brims!
Nice to see it again.Resistol Stagecoach
It's kind of stuck on my headI can see you like that one Joao. excellent.
He wears it well. It only needed a lil' more brim.Sam you're in Joao territory with that huge crown. Super! Cool boots too.
It's a full 6 inches. Brim is 2 5/8. Similar dimensions to my vintage Stratoliner. The vintage Strat is nicer but it's hard to round them up in exactly the color you want when you're a 7 1/2 like me. This'll do in a pinch.
How is the felt quality compared to modern Stetsons?

Perfect for this weather. The hat and the BBQ.Having brought only one hat on the trip it was the 3X Open Road again in the lush springtime landscape of southeast Texas.
Later, the mother lode....

Borsalino Alessandria in a light grey (looks kind of baby blue in these pics) picked it up from Bencraft today. Nice full straight crown it was fun to crease a hat and not be fighting the old crease of many vintage hats I've gotten lately
