Today I wore my first bowler to church! I always liked derbies, I think they're elegant hats. Though I get a bit of an oddjob or Chaplin vibe with mine


HCB3. That derby looks good on you, no oddjob about it. I love derbies too, I just can't find (yet) vintage derbies that fit my giant long oval head I personally feel a little uncomfortable wearing a derby unless I am wearing a suit. With a fedora I can wear jeans and a casual shirt with out thinking twice about it. I guess it is because I wear a fedora everyday and only have the one derby that really fits well, and it's a cheap Scalia at that. I'm sure that will change when I can can get one custom made to fit, or buy one that I can try on first and start wearing it regularly.
