For today this navy blue Stetson.

Beating you brim-wise in the early seventies, I believe I have earned the right to go "Nice stingy!" at you just this once. :D

Great to see such a varied selection of cool hats over the last twenty four hours.

Since it's a little cooler today, I'm starting my day with my Adventurebilt

Well I can't beat a straw sombrero :) but if this is a stingy, all fedoras are a fez. :D

Wow, Hatophile, I like that one - it has a clean look, goes well with your tie. Reminds me of the 60's when my grandfather used to wear a hat looking like it. Hmmm, I wonder. I think he was a Stetson man.

Looks like that wool is breaking you, Joao!
I'll break it first :)
At least I think I will...

Perry, Greg, Joao, Charlie, David, you guys are making Tuesday look great!!!
Portis today
Is that Portis a light pink or is it light grey?

Joao, that looks like a pretty wide brim!
4.75" brim, the largest the store seller had.
I asked the store seller how wide can it go and he will ask to the factory were they are made.

I was wandering around an antiques warehouse last weekend and saw this. There were two reasons I had to have it:
1 I didn't have a boater;
2 It fitted. Most vintage hats are far too small.
Also it's in great condition for a vintage hat.

But that hatband has got to go! What was the last owner thinking of? He must have been Scottish. But I'm finding it's a lot harder to get a band than to get a boater.

Ridgmont was an old Luton maker, I believe. Maybe the logo gives a clue to the age, I've no idea.

To be honest - and this is another reason it's got to go - it isn't even a hatband, there's no bow, it's just a piece of ribbon someone's stitched to the hat.

I read that the traditional boater band is black, so I hope to find one online.
