What hat are you waiting for today?

Lord Almighty. In the Computer Age, they still have screw-ups such as this.
The ultimate problem with the tracking system used by these courier companies is that every employee along the way can scan the parcel as they're supposed to, including the delivery driver, and they can verify that it was delivered but not necessarily where it was delivered because the driver can scan it and still deliver it to the wrong address. It's better than nothing, but they're still relying on the driver to remember one package out of tens of other packages he/she delivered that day.

I'm waiting for my Dobbs "Dutton" in Cordova Brown. (For $35.00 it will be worth the purchase). I received the Christys' Black Bowler that I had to send back because it was too small will be here by next Wednesday at the latest. (It is an original London made Bowler that normally lists for $245.00). I will have paid $136.00 when the hat of the right size arrives.

Life is good.

Don't know what possessed me...

This one arrived and was way too small (not a 7-1/2 as advertised, but a 7). It will be relocated tomorrow... :(

It was an epic battle. But you are the rightful hat crazy that this hat was meant for!

I am officially "bat guano" crazy! I actually spent $3.12 on a cheap Chinese cloth what they call a "trilby/fedora" It is a "throw-away" hat, but can be worn anytime, anywhere. It is gray and "flea-bay" is almost giving them away.

:p Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Ebay and you eBay alone.

Way to go, Ant! Looks great - can't wait to see you enjoying it. Two great pick ups in one week.

You'll be back in the game sooner than you think.

Yeah, he was gifting me a Dalton box. But like Cracker Jacks, there was a surprise Whippet inside.

Poor guy was back in MA pacing the floor like a new father until I told him I had it and would send it back.

I shoulda sent him some hankies instead.

Hey, hey, hey. A guy can't make a mistake. I didn't mis-send the box, I only forgot to empty it before I sent it.

And I wasn't pacing. I was having a heart attack.

LOL. If it would have been a 7 1/4 in stead of a 7 1/8, then I probably wouldn't have "found" it. :D
