My "Cotswolds" from Leon Drexler is delayed til the summer. Stephen has tendinitis in his hand and he is taking some time off to give it rest. He tried to work through it but that never seems to work. I wish him the best and a speedy recovery for his sake NOT my new hat's!

I JUST STOLE THIS:

from our friends at Hats in the Belfry, this being the last of three remaining Stetson Premier Stratoliner - Open Crown Fur Felt Fedoras, and the only 7 3/8, for $117 shipped!
That's why I am running. I have a 4o's model and can't wait to compare the two.
nice score at a nice price ... but there will be no comparison

I have a modern Premeir in SB ... it is actually a nice hat ... I like it

but when put against my 40s and 50s Strats unfortunately it becomes the ugly duckling

[emoji16] I had initially thought from the tag it would be late 50s. However, one of your recent posts edumacated me it's early 60s. Adrian raved about the quality, and actually sat on it for a while until I could get it.

He's such a mensch.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Adrian is the best ... he has been very good to me

Nice! That is a great price for sure. I am waiting for the same hat in Caribou; however I paid a little bit more (also new-ebay) in 7 3/8. I have been trying to find a gray hat to add to my modest rotation for months (all my hats are in the tan/brown/SB family of colors). I have the same hat in Cornwall that I got from a forum member which I really like in 7 1/4. I have found that I can wear 7 1/4 or 7 3/8 so hopefully this is not too loose.

My borsalino I sourced online in Holland has been allegedly misdelivered to someone in Holland! (rather than exported here) The vendor says they are looking into it but won't receive it back for at least a week which all sounds very suspicious regardless of them issuing me a DHL tracking number last Friday.

and a fedora from Poland has been showing as delivered to me at 6pm today since 11am this morning. It's past 7pm now. When i complained earlier they sent me a link to the track and trace website I bloody got the information from.

arrrrrgggghhhhhhh

Lord Almighty. In the Computer Age, they still have screw-ups such as this.
