Anthony Jordan said:Today, having possibly taken my daughter's injunction to "wear something purple for my friend's party" a little too far:
Cheapest of the cheap linen/cotton suit from Primark
Tyrwhitt shirt
eBay tie
Tie rack pocket handkerchief
(Thurston boxcloth braces)
(Tricker's Acorn brogues)
I wanted something smart enough to go to church in but not too formal in view of the birthday party afterwards, and also something that I would be too upset if it was rained on or had jelly spilt down it...

Marvelous outfit and fantastic family photo! However I think that your husband needs a camera that is a little more flash powder and a little less digital to be perfect!
Cheers

Don't knock a linen suit from Primark!

May I ask a couple of questions? Where do you recommend buying kilts — specialist makers in Scotland or elsewhere? What do I need to ask for in the way of fit, etc.? Is it just a matter of giving waist (navel), hip and waist-to-knee measurements?
All the best,
