Nice to see that there is still life in this thread.

People love or hate these jackets. As for me, I love 'em. They are what they are: a vintage oddity that screams 1930s, and as a part of the right ensemble, they can look really sharp. If I hit the lotto I'd buy one from every repop company, and a grab a few vintage ones too!

Here's a studio shot of Himel Bros's Wolverine jacket (a grizzly-fied Heron)

Heller's Cafe, which unlike the button-up Himel Bros, is based of a vintage model. The wool is only in the front and there is a rear cinch buckle in the back.

Not sure how I feel about this Hardivarue shawl collar grizzly. The fit looks modern to my eyes.

A beltless jacket by a new company called "Rumble Red." I don't read Japanese, so I don't have much info on this grizzly beyond that it looks good and is probably a grand or two.

Adjustable Costume's stunning Wine-tinged grizzly; out of this world.

They look fantastic, would prob prefer a different collar, but they are really sharp.

I notice in most of the photos, it's young men wearing them, I have not seen photos of us old guys in them! The older I get, the less I care what others think of my cloths, so may be about time for a Grizzly?

I just wanted to be sure. If I order one of these, I think the second is vastly more wearable. I'd still opt for a mouton collar though.

The first is a bit like a bumblebee...! But I like them both. The second is a great style, always wanted one.
