Grizzly jackets seem to be gaining a little more popularity. I am seeing more makers producing them now. I couldn’t resist the new Y2 indigo leather grizzly.
I have been really interested in picking up something from Y2 lately. Their leather N-1 deck jacket as well as their indigo leather type 3 are calling my name.
And that is an amazing grizzly collection you have, I think you may have the market cornered.

still thinking about getting a grizzly.

for the owners how hot are they compared to your standard cotton lined jacket?

does the mouton get easily messed up from car/desk chair life?

are the front belts annoying to deal with when you aren't zipped?

The Y2 Leather one i have is pretty toasty, i live in Alberta Canada, it gets seriously cold, and i wore mine in -10c with a light sweater underneath and i was plenty warm, i dont see me wearing mine till late fall.
The mouton is very sturdy and robust feeling, normal wear in the car shouldnt damage the mouton.

I have a Thedi customized grizzly with woollen liner so..yes, it is considerabily warmer than a nylon/cotton lined leather jacket... what impacts most im my jacket is the big mouton shawled collar, which gives a very comfy and warm feeling. I'd never wear a Grizzly with a belt because I really dislike this style and the nicest original ones I have seen from the 30s were beltless
