Lovely color combo
Thanks Joe. It’s a desirable size for some as well.
Lovely color combo
I was thinking that too, Bob. The colour on my Gay Blade isn't quite as pronounced though, but the matching brim binding adds to the contrasting effect. Thanks Greg! It reminds me of Steve’s Gay Blade.

Another pretty one, Bob.
It’s a really nice Golden Coach. It is giving me vibes of being a bit earlier than most of the Golden Coach I’ve seen. That tag is the standard 1960s Dobbs/HCA tag…. However this one was hand written instead of printed. My guess would be late 1950s to early 60s.Here is my Dobbs Twenty-five Gloden Coach. 2 inch brim , 5 inch crown, guild edge.

This is the only tag I could find.

Dobbs Fifteen: 5 ⅝” open crown and 2 ⅝” brim with a welted / Cavanagh / Guild edge. The color reminds me of Sahara and the ribbon is an old copper. It’s in fantastic condition and everything about this hat is just about perfect to my eye.

What a beautiful hat, Brent. I see this Fifteen is marked “Dobbs Edge“ as are the two Fifteens I found recently. I wonder your impression on it in comparison to other Cavanagh edge hats your handled. I got the feeling it is a bit different . It doesn’t have that rounded welted edge…. The welt is wider and The inside of the edge is a bit sharper…. Possibly an over welt that is glued and sewn and then the thread removed when glue dried so you have No stitches.Dobbs Fifteen: 5 ⅝” open crown and 2 ⅝” brim with a welted / Cavanagh / Guild edge.
