I also wonder why this jacket isn't more popular. Not much really came up in the search for wearing photos.
Unlike the N-1, this one is really navy in colour. Surprisingly, I like it quite well on me, although it is very wide around the tummy. But the strong taper with the knitted waistband and the firm jungle cloth makes it work. I would also like to see a version with the 500g wool lining.

I’ve been wearing my new rmc khaki lately. I ordered in my typical size 40. It is a comfortable trim fit with a flannel. I’d suggest with this model if you plan on heavy layers to size up.

I am happy! Seems "my" Jacket has found it's final destination. Looks great on you! I should say, the U.S.N. Stencil it had originally come with was looking not like on the originals. I re-painted it with fabric marker and ironed the color in so it is stable. There are some green spots around but hard to notice. The buttons this jacket originally came with were pale khaki, so I took 40s mil-spec buttons from my collection and sew them on. Enjoy your jacket!

Is Iron Heart the only brand the has fur lining in their pockets, or do other brands like Real McCoys do that too? I heard Iron Heart is also the only brand that does an interliner.

Where I roam there is no danger of people asking me this. 99% don't even know what USN stands for. If they "know", they ask me if I sell fitness drinks and supplements, lol.
The U.S.N. stencil was there anyway just not in the correct WWII appearance.
