The State Library of NSW has a new exhibition about the history of retail shopping in Sydney. Looks like fun, I think I'll make the trip to Sydney for this one.

Has anyone ever seen "A Bush Christmas" (1947)?

It's a children's story shot in the NSW Blue Mountains at Christmas time (although how you could wear clothes like that at Christmas in Oz is beyond me).

Not the best film I've ever seen by a long stretch but it's from the era we all love and uniquely Australian.

I was just looking at some other threads about favourite cartoons and I remember watching 'Owly School' when I was small.

It wasn't a cartoon. It was a puppet show.
