sleeve length?

I have a question regarding a jacket I have. Whenever I wear the jacket, the shirt sleeve on one side rides below the cuff and the shirt sleeve on the other side rides up my arm. It's more annoying than you would think!

Anyone know why this happens? The sleeve lengths are equal.

Two questions

1. Are the sleeves of equal length when the jacket's hanging up?
2. What's your posture like? Look at yourself in a mirror without the jacket on and see how your shoulders sit. You may, like me, have picked up some tension-related posture problems over time.

You might turn the jacket inside out to see if there is something about the lining that is causing the problem. While it is inside out you might measure the diameter of the sleeve linings and cuffs to see if one is smaller than the other. Let us know if you solve the mystery.

I have had the same problem with a black leather patrol jacket, but it only appeared during driving... Do you have the problem in every situation you are wearing the jacket? Or perhaps, as mentioned, by using one hand more than the other? In my case, the "problem" was solved just to take a few seconds more before drive off and straightened the back of the jacket.

I notice it most when I drive and it tends to be the worst then. I think you are right that the back of the jacket must twist more when I'm sitting down. Also, it's a shearling jacket, so I think that maybe my sleeves have less resistance in the coat which further compounds the problem.
