You know as well as I do that people are afraid of those colors today. They get wide eyed and confused about what they can wear it with. Even our "leaders" wear boring suits and boring ties. No wonder people don't like wearing suits and ties. The junk they have to choose from is off-putting.

Nice vintage hand painted club tie. Back in the day, club ties were popular---when people wore ties more often.

I have a similar one with a purple background and a spider at the center. Red and white works too.

It is for sale on ebay in the UK. I think that the seller has good contacts in the USA (or is clearing a big collection?) since they often sell good American ties.
