I have a couple of that model of Sugar and Spice. Both are brown with slight variations in the overstripe colours.

jamespowers said:Is this a knot planned tie? It looks like the knot would be red with white polka dots. That would be nice.
Quigley Brown said:It's a knot-planned. I don't like wearing dark colored shirts, which is what this would look best on. What's the name of that type of material with in inlaid design? This is a very 'shiney' necktie.

Cutter Cravats on the left and middle, unknown on the right:
Interesting detail on the middle one:
I own several "Sugar and Spice" ties but have never seen a "Royal" kind:

Those are great!

thunderw21 said:There were more (including several Palm Beach ties) but were too badly gone to salvage.
jamespowers said:More?! How badly gone is gone? You can always send them to Widebrim.
Serriously, they would have to be pretty moth eaten to get away from me.
thunderw21 said:They were either horribly eaten, ripped, badly stained/faded or any combination of the three.
O.k. I was taking a wild guess and thought the Royal Sugar and Spice might be a different material finish.thunderw21 said:It's the same stuff your "Sugar and Spice" tie is made of, whatever it might be.

Cutter Cravats on the left and middle, unknown on the right. The tie on the left is made of acetate:
Quigley Brown said:From the Boone Goodwill? I went there a fews times last year when visiting relatives, but came up dry..... [huh]
thunderw21 said:From the Ames one. Though several weeks ago I scored about 10 vintage ties from the Boone one. Boone can be a crapshoot but occasionally you'll find a gem.
