The P2 is a unique last, and not as artistic as many other lasts, but it is mainly about the ride for me. Handmade delivers the ultimate ride, and the P2 delivers the best fit of all.
My Blue Heaven:
The Saddle shoe and the last pair of spectators, my wife Tina found online, they were gifts, probably Christmas.
The second pair are from former Lounger SimonC who trades as SJC
The rest are all from Colin Johnson Shoes.

Those vintage blue shoes are superb.
I bought my dream shoes today. Love nothing better than a Silvano Lattanzi when it is done right.
Possibly the best shoes in the world today. Why? Because Mr Lattanzi bought a vintage stock of high quality leather in 1991 from Pebody when it closed down, he bought the entire stock, and l don't think any other shoemaker has leather like he does, even Hermes'. My ex shoemaker travelled the world working with various top bespoke shoemakers and/or examining their work in his travels throughout England and Italy and Europe, and he tells me he never saw any bespoke shoemaker use the quality of leather that Lattanzi uses.
Shooman; WOW! Lattanzi shoes command some big monies in the shoe game. I was admiring the sole construction, attachment and waist on his satorial website showcasing the monk strapped shoes. The double row stitching on the shoe is eye catching. Congrats.
Short Balding Guy said:Lattanzi website, https://www.silvanolattanzi.com/true-craftmanship-silvano-lattanzi/, has interesting vids of leather, cutting assembly and welting. Fun to watch. I imagine your expectations must be very high.

Today was a great day because the sun was shining and my pair of Lattanzi arrived. Here is a more accurate picture of the colour, a nice chestnut. These are really beautiful. These are a good fit. I feel very lucky to have these.

Dream shoes can make the sun shine even brighter! Just gorgeous shoes. Since your last post I have read a bit more about Lattanzi shoes. Quite a story that has yet to have an ending in sight. I admired another alligator pair (chuckas) for their hand workmanship. Aditionally out of curiosity I have sourced a used pair I will try on next month during some business travel. I will try the suede brogued pair on and report back.
A retailer in NY who retails some of his shoes I quote here; "Poor people cannot afford to buy cheap things because they have to last." This quote accredited to be Polish in origion, rings true IMO.
Truly lovely shoes. Congrats sir.
