I think most people have one foot slighter shorter than the other.

Here is a better photo of my monks. Funny enough, this is the exact pair from the Lattanzi website that l now own. Have wanted these for over a year. They fit good too.

Show my Shoes - It has been a long time since I shared shoes I have been sport'n. I will work to do better. Shoe care of some vintage shoes are on my list. I did do shoe care on my gym shoes recently.

Yesterday for some work shenanigans I wore a modern pair of Alden Long wing tips, gunboats. The alpine grain makes the shoes work well with all things casual.

Great collection Eric, and what a reassuring post. My shoes live at the bottom of the wardrobe on shoe tree racks. What I am not going to tell is how many racks there are. I am not in the Imelda Marcos league, but I do have much more than I need.

Seen like this on their rack they tend to hide each other.

Not a bad thing I guess but here's a few seen more clearly:

This place (TFL) is a bad influence, a couple short years ago I moved from Hawaii to the mainland. All I owned were slippers (flip flops)

This past week I now own some nice oxfords...

Very attractive they are too. You are right about the influence of The Lounge, the posts and photos have the ability to cause addiction..................................Tell me about it!

We used to have a member here by the name of SimonC. He went on to establish his own company: Cathcart London (https://www.cathcartlondon.com/). Whilst here he put up a photo of 1920's Hollywood royalty Douglas Fairbanks Jnr. & Mary Pickford. Look at the fellow's shoes. Simon reproduced them.

Has anyone noticed the popularity of light grey? It has reached the stock of a certain cordwainer, and ultimately, my wardrobe.

Allen Edmonds are dynamite shoes. Congrats! Those are some sharp shoes.

My leather shoes are more comfortable than my "work" gym shoes. I imagine they provide more support than your slides or slippers. I recall vividly on Sundays when my brothers and my Dad would be shinning our shoes for the upcoming week, before watching football games and my Dad would call his Gunboats (longwing shoes) "Positions of Authority." My gunboats will always be "Positions of Authority."

Congrats sir.

Wow! Those are gorgeous. The design and stitch work are superb.

Yes, l love these. Even as a kid l wanted amazing shoes that are like works of art, but it took me 40 years to eventually achieve that dream. I feel very fortunate. I've had Vass, Edward Green and John Lobb, but none of them begin to compare to Lattanzi. Thanks for your kind words.
