The blu ray box comes with loads of extra's. They also elaborate on the costume department. If I remember correctly they assembled a team of costume makers. All custom made. No third party supplier.I’ve been watching boardwalk empire recently and blown away by the overcoats. Some fantastic coats flying around- does anyone know who made them?
I suspect that's pretty standard for most movies and TV shows these days. That's why costumes look like something but just a little bit off. Or they buy OTR stuff and heavily modify it. But I suspect custom made. After all, it just has to look good on screen and hold together for a few weeks, not last 10 years or actually perform in bad weather, etc.The blu ray box comes with loads of extra's. I like to see the women in hats particularly the fedora
I had a conversation with a lady that works as a costumer for movies. She works what is called the "Breakdown" department. It is her job to age/wear/deteriorate the actors clothing to suit the scene. She said that they needed at least 6 sets of each wardrobe to cover continuity and all the possible scenarios and all the possible reshoots of the scenes.I suspect that's pretty standard for most movies and TV shows these days.
