One dress this weekend.

This dress is compiled of three different patterns. I love mixing up stuff :)

Mrs. Merl, please do post something. I love to marvel at everyones talents. I seem to have no knack for sewing, but that doesn't stop me from feeling the inspiration that runs this thread.:)

Yes, i am agree with PS, I think we tend to be too critic about the stuff we make but Hey, i bet half of us are not tailors so any try is good.

I am currently making a pair of hight waisted trousers and you know! they are my first ever and i can reassure you that i am mighty surprised how far i have gone into them, hey, tomorrow i am posting the pics:)

LD, that dress is great! it takes a lot of skill to be able to combine patterns WOW!

Love the scalloped neckline!

Now that summer is over, I made a long-planned swimsuit:

And a cover-up:

The swimsuit is black pique, and is lined in the scottie plaid. I used one pattern for the swimsuit, and another one for the cover-up:

Fuzzy Lizzy that swimsuit set is adorable! Pardon my ignorance, but can you actually wear that in the water? I have some cute patterns but I was never sure if they were meant for actual swimming or if they were designed to be worn while lounging in a chair looking cute.

I've been quite busy! This is my friend's wedding. She had the corset made then sent me the matching fabric for the skirt. It's a shot silk in red and black.

Lorena B, please post a pic when they are on ya :D

Kamikat, you do 60s real real well! You just need a beehive ;)

Ive cannibalized a few projects, and managed to make up some stuff.

The two skirts are from the same pattern, and the green calico dress is a staple of a pattern Ive nearly made to death. Details are here.

Thanks all,

LD
