I have so much catching up to do here. Everyone has been busy turning out fab outfits. I made these last week and used Sunny's suggestion of fully lining the top and I highly recommend it. The self facing was odd and difficult to understand. I used a medium weight denim and vintage buttons.

Im a sucker for covered buttons too.

The red crepe was hard, because of the cut being on the bias. It was tricky sewing in the facing without it stretching out of shape :rage: I dont know if Ill make it again, as a few dresses in this design would be kinda obvious.

I did run out of fabric, but a friend wanted to go fabric shopping, and there were so many sales...(the shirts' fabric cost $4 each, total!). I couldnt say no.
The red crape total cost was $22.

Ive also got wide leg trousers in the pipeline....
