You ever put that in the shower?

Seriously, was that crease put in by his hand?
Lol
I get that Jim.
Valentine did make hats for Roy and Dale too. Maybe he taught old Roy that trick.
The crease came like that and i don’t see shadows of others but pure speculation as to who did it. Might just be a show hat idk.

Actually, I crossed Roy with Hoppy and confused the issue with the shower. My father used to like to embarrass my mom with a story about one time they saw Hopalong Cassidy in town. He was apparently in town for some sort of promotional appearance, and when Mom and Dad drove by and Mom recognized him (I think this was before they were married), she was star-struck. To hear Dad tell it, she started hanging out the window, waving her arms, and yelling (Dad in high falsetto, waving his arms uncontrollably), "Hi Hoppy! Hi Hoppy!" Upon which Mom's usual reply, was, "Now, Howard!" I probably saw this play out 20 times while I was growing up!

Did he do gift hats like Truman and LBJ? It's a cool hat to have. I think I have one with Clark Kent's initials in it, though, LOL.

Yeah, but it's not their birthday, so I snubbed them.
No problem. I always enjoyed this pic & knowing who they are helps date the timeline the pic:

Lincoln replaced McClellan with Grant as Commander in Nov. 1862, so this pic was early in the War. McClellan would be the Democratic candidate for President & run against Lincoln in 1864.

Allan Pinkerton was already protecting the President long before his heyday with his Pinkerton National Detective Agency and the Agency's relationship with protecting the railroad.

McClellan had been President of the railroad & resigned to take command of the Army of the Republic when the war broke out. Who knows when McClellan's relationship with Pinkerton might have been formed? As it turns out it was very lucrative for Pinkerton.

Strange bedfellows.
