Ahh crap trying to put different pics up but it's not working right well when I do get it working I'll post more, sorry for this gents.
Are you close to Covington somewhere? My family is from that part of the world.
If there is anywhere in this world a hat collection as impressive, extensive, representative, well-curated, etc., etc., as Robert's, well, I'd sure like to see it. Until I do, I gotta believe it has no rival.
Burton-Taylor seller said it fit a 23" head but left out that its marked a 1/4!
Also missing a chunk out of the sweatband and looks like somone tried to spot clean it as we'll , despite all of that the felt is in nice shape for an old hat. Fortunately there's no fading issues so the color is pretty consistent overall. It's the sort of beater hat I like as it has very classic lines and the ribbon width suits my taste.
No he said it was the oxblood felt very velvet like finish if I compare it too my Cavanaugh fifty I acquired a bit back.I look forward to seeing more. From what I can see in the photos it looks nice. Is that the black cherry felt?
