Doc, do you find the lint is of a different quality over in London? What do you think of 'bespoke' lint?

It depends on the garment. I've not gone the whole Savile Lint route yet, but find that my lint-to-measure stuff is far superior to the regular ready-to-lint.

Now the hand-rolled Italian lint, that's got class.

A stint on lint.

More lint form more natural fabrics, or looser woven fabrics, or fabrics made but their edges were left raw.

As I speak I am pulling nappy tan and white lint ball from my wool cardie pocket. What is the white? a paper tissue mistakenly left in the pocket and then dissolved in the wash? Perhaps, but we may never ever ever ever know.

See, I'm an innie: my navel hoards lint like there's no tomorrow. The darn stuff pops right out of my bellybutton when I take a shower. Practically clogs up the drainpipe, and ...

Wait a minute. Are we talking about pocket lint here? Whoops ...

I read somewhere that Brioni paid a fortune to have their lint placed in the new Bond picture.

I was more impressed by the way that Q Branch were able to bulid an entire cocktail cabinet into it.

Hmmm -- as long as we're talking lint here, does anyone know how to safely remove accumulated lint from the surface of a vintage Milk Dud? Just found one in the bottom of a pocket in my winter coat, and am wondering if anyone has any tips?

I think Lizzie's smart enough not to eat lint. Or want to.

I'd recommend freezing the Milk Dud and combing off the lint with one of those magic-brush thingies from the TV ad.

Wouldn't that damage the lint?
