Jayne Mansfield was a natural brunette, and she was stunning both before and after she went platinum. I love her 50s as well as her 60s look. I wish I could find pictures of her as a teen in the 40s, with red lips and dark hair, she was a looker! Does anyone else have one? (The wedding pic is from 1950.)

To me, they both are intriguing in different ways. Sophia Loren is sexy, not necessarily "pretty." Audrey Hepburn is very pretty, but definitely not "sexy."

This is a fun thread. I'm happily flabbergasted by Ginger Rogers - couldn't tell it was her at all in those early, brunette pics.
