This is the jacket 442RCT sent me, the arms are a little long and a little wide, but other than that i love it. been wearing it every chance i get since it got here. Anyone know where i could maybe find a guide to shortening the sleeves?

That jacket looks great, but I would get working on that research, or karma will come and smite you.

Oh, and i wouldn't worry about the sleeves, it looks good as is.

I have been doing the research, and with the sleeves, id like to shorten them a bit because the cuffs are pushed all the way back into the sleeves so they are no longer visible.

Wolfe, the only way I know to shorten the sleeves is to tailor them. That jacket has already had the hot water shrink tried several times. From looking at your previous pics, I was thinking you were taller and had longer arms than I do and that jacket would fit. [huh] Glad you liked it, as for the tires, my wife traded in that car for a van.

I'd leave the sleeves alone, or have someone do it professionally. Tailoring leather's not something that's easy to do right the first time or without a lot of specialized tools. It's the sort of thing that you'll probably hate yourself for doing later.

It looks good Wolfeman - nice patina and colouration! :)
Don't worry about the sleeves for now - it will be pretty hot in Florida soon I guess and so you probably won't wear it out too much until Fall - by then you might be a little taller and a little longer in the arm. Certainly by next winter you will probably be fine. These jackets last forever; it's not like you will wear it a year and then it will fall apart - I have one not hugely disimiliar to that one that is 20 odd years old and still perfectly sound and wearable. So I think you are best off just enjoying it as it is for now.
