I've given up on narrowing it. I'll use it in its original form.I wouldnt bother narrowing them, to do so kind of defeats the purpose of the original jackets which generally do or did fit whoever was wearing them as your picture shows - on the other hand a specially tailored M65 may be what you prefer, but it will take away imo from the overall feel and M65iness of the whole thing. I think its easy to overthink military style jackets.
The right decision. Here is my 1987 m65 contract. I didn't even pay attention to the wide sleeves. A very comfortable and practical jacket. Wear it and don't think about anythingI've given up on narrowing it. I'll use it in its original form.
