London Outerwear meetup 8th of December - Epilogue

Careful, you might end up wanting a grizzly after meeting us! To everyone thinking of coming, it is just a fun and casual meetup, don't worry about what you are wearing and just come meet us!

Based on that description I'm sure everyone will have a good time. Remember to get tested after!

The weather forecast for the weekend will be a bit warmer than today, probably reaching 12oC within London.

I'm good to go, will catch folk at Eastman's 'Pop-Up' hopefully, taking the hound (Saluki Cross) along for company..she loves the smell of new leather

Just a quick reminder guys, the meetup is tomorrow at 14:30 in front of the Eastman pop up!

Fuelled the car up ready to drive up to the 'Smoke' tomorrow morning, parking at Kew, late breakfast in Gunnesbury Park after the hounds had a run (fantastic cafe there that make their own pizzas). Aiming to present myself outside the 'Pop-Up' at 14.30 hrs alongside my canine companion, she's the White good looking one with the fancy 'running dog' collar....

We should have asked the Eastman staff to take a photo of us. A shame we forgot!

I'm afraid this is the only pic. @Carlos840 was all smiles throughout our meeting, but obviously when the photo was taken, he reverted to his trademark scowl! I'm wearing Lewis Leathers, he's wearing Real McCoys.

Excellent to meet everybody again as usual, great advice on next purchases from @red devil, and thanks to @Jejupe for buying me dinner - next time it's on me!

Sorry guys, whatever happens at the meetup stays at the meetup

These are pretty casual meetings of like-minded, friendly people. So what happens is that most of us (all of us this time) completely forget to takes pics as we are enjoying all the conversations that come up while together. We had a really good time and forgot (again) to take pictures.

If this is not a good reason to make it, then I don't know what is

The only pic I have was due to Sarge from ELC (I hope I didn't get his nickname wrong), let me try his jacket:

I would have never guessed it has been aged because it is done so well, really impressive!

All in all we had quite the variety of jackets:

- Biker style from Belstaff, Lewis leather and RMC
- Peacoat from Lost Worlds
- Military style from ELC
- Grizzly (what style would that really be btw?)

All in all a nice variety of serious jackets

@Monitor, it would be really great to have you come over at the next meetup

Nice to meet you fella's yesterday..thanks for your company, a drink & looking after Kelda whilst I visited the little boys room (Gents Toilet). Took a bit longer than usual driving home, thanks to congestion & the rain. Wife had my dinner ready and a few beers cooling. Going to book a Hotel nearby next year
