We need to start thinking of a route. Can you please give your ideas into what places and shops you want to see?

Just my 2cents:

I´d stick to the Fitzrovia side of town. That way we could cover place like Lewis Leathers, Rivet&Hide and Clutch by foot. Miriads of places to have a drink/grab some pub food around too.

The East end is arguably more picturesque but somewhat far off, and I can´t think of "need-to-see" places other than maybe Son of a Stag.

Others (locals) will be more qualified to give advice, and I don´t know if I can even make it, so pls. feel free to disregard the above entirely.

That's more or less what we did at the first meetup, long walk visiting quite a few shops. IT is a solid choice :)

I was already shut down .. and was reminded I have 2 weddings to attend.
Bummer !!

Too bad, I am hoping to make it nto a yearly event, so hopefully next time!

Very hectic up Shoreditch way though fun. I’ve never been to Lewis Leathers or Rivet & Hide so those are of interest. The dog sayes that she’s going again if I am..

Maybe worth taking in part of West London? I've not been out that way in nearly three years, but the Latimer Grove end of Portobello Market had a lot of clothes stalls in and around the bit under the Westway with a lot of leather jacket ones last time I was there - mainly old bike jackets, but some interesting stuff. I think a few of the places that used to be in Camden, including Hi Star Classics, shifted over there when Camden went "upmarket". Stuarts of London is, I think, also round that area; they used to bed an Aero stockist, not sure what brands they carry now.

Honestly, the only place that I absolutely would love to visit is Lewis Leathers so if we can cover that, I'm good. I don't know what else is there so just meeting you guys and seeing London is already a perfect day in itself.

Just checked on Stuarts of London, they are near Sheperds Bush if their google map info is up to date. It would certainly be good to go check the stalls in Portobello market. Good chance for us to share how we looj for the interesting jackets.

Lewis Leather is a mandatory stop :D

Lewis is definitely worth a visit! They were great the last time I was able to make it out, which I think was 2018? I missed 2019, and then the plague hit. Odd few years, I feel like I should still be 45!

Yep, RMC would be in the list of shops to visit, we did check it out during the first meet up :)

You mean checking the ELC workshop? They are based South West, could be done in a day if we leave early

The new shop on Sackville Street opened 2 month ago ! There is also the RRL corner that is always worth visiting & American Classics Store.

Yes I meant the Eastman factory ! It's a full day from London indeed ...
Maybe you know a private collector in London that would be open to visits ?

If there is enough interest, we could devote a day to visit Eastman, I can contact them to see if they would be ok with a visit.

American Calssics and RRL are both part of the tour if we start from Goodge Street. :)

I don't know of any collector in London personally, anybody has an idea?

We could always go there in the morning for those interested, have lunch somewhere than continue from Goodge street in the afternoon. Have you been to one?

I am in too :) Just moved to London a few months ago !
Would be worth checking the new RMC shop near Savile's Row !
and rent a bus to visit Eastman leathers :) ?

Went to Eastman Leathers a week ago, fantastic showroom with row on row of jacket porn. Gary’s A-2 collection encased in glass and taking up a wall. Nice coffee and biscuits, tried on the new fly weight Irvin..lovely! Placed an A-2 RW order. Well worth making an appointment and visiting, great pieces in their ELMC biker collection too…
