I start with a Panfilio Hat from 1962.
The seller says the hat is gray brown but he is gray green. what a mess.
Looks like a Italian Pork Pie. very good condition. Liner and Sweatband perfect.
It was an Ebay find that arrived today

I believe I have seen a Panfilo before but Verbano is a new one to me. It has Ghiffa Italia on the liner which was the location of Panizza so might some how be associated. Based on the construction and style I would say 1970s. Is the liner stitiched?

Yes Steve the liner is stitched. Verbano is, I think the Home Brand of Roberto Manzoni.
Is quite possible the hats were made ​​for him by Panizza.

Here's my only Italian hat that's not a Borsalino. This is some of the thickest densest felt I've ever handled. Too bad I hardly ever wear it.

Lloyd, this is a very nice looking Trachten Hat. In Germany we says Trachten for that Style.
The Brand is unknown to me.

No experience with Carlo Sala. Never heard of them before.

Ive seen that video of the Cervo factory. They now own the Barbisio, Bantam labels as well.

CCJ, Borsalino Trionfo. It's a wide brimmed Model of Borsalino!
