Italian brands hats

Every so often I find some accessories of some old closed hats shop.
fjom4i.jpg

Here are two hat cones, one from the Cervo and one from Guglielmo Pasini from Monza
2j0fb82.jpg

They are made of simple cardboard, they seem to be from the fifties, poorer as construction of the Barbisio that I had shown you some time ago
The hats stacked are not from the cones makers :)
Daniele, They are great! I really like seeing these old Hat Holders.

A brand we don't see very often. Vanzina homburg in nero. Qualitá extra, size 58, with the brim at 5,5cm and the crown at 11cm at the pinch. Very nice hand, but it wouldn't surprise me if it has some wool content.

That's another nice looking Homburg Stefan. Looks like it's from before Borsalino took over Vanzina but kept the name. I don't see the "Vanzina - styled by Borsalino" label anywhere.

Cervo Gold Bantam "Piuma", 59cm possibly later 1950s. This NOS find is from Daniele and my latest visit to the M. Hutter find in Merano, Italy. The detail work is really fantastic and the felt is very light weight with side vents.

Super hat, Steve. Underlines what a great hatmaker Cervo was back in the day. The colour, pork pie style, button side vents, thin rope ribbon with the bow flowing into the side, the art work on the liner and sweatband, not to mention the exquisite 5 ring stitching on the top and bottom of the crown all make it a joy to behold. It's a beauty. No one could walk away from buying that hat. Congrats.

Cervo in Diano colour, which is a nice little wordplay by them. Cervo meaning "deer" and "daino" meaning "fallow deer". Size 56, with the overwelt brim at 5,5cm and the crown 9,5cm at the pinch. Cervo is a manufacturer who made hats under other brand names too, among which was borsalino at some point. Hats under their own brand name don't come up all that often. This is a later hat by them. The crown is a bit lower and shows some taper, but that was a style choice.

Nice Cervo, Stefan. Great colour with contrasting ribbon. Super liner logo, too. The logo on the sweat is very reminiscent of Borsalinos ditto.

I have a few Cervos. They're all well made and really comfortable to wear.

The hat is part of a deal involving two Borsalino
24b9fkn.jpg

It is certainly one of the most bizarre hats I have found on the Italian market
2ludon5.jpg

It was sold in Valencia - Spain, but the hat was certainly made in Italy
2dkk5k8.jpg

Sabanero - Fabbricato in Italia was erasered. I believe it was made in Monza or maybe from Vanzina.
2r73s0o.jpg

It has a label in paper or what remains and an indication of size 55 cm. or 6 7/8.
qzkfpi.jpg

and there is indication it is waterproof
2j61klk.jpg

The felt of this hat is twice as heavy as a dress hat
10nvrq9.jpg

It was clean and came to me without lining, as long as there was one and the sweatband is still soft.
The excellent felt has a short finish fur and the honey color is magnificent
6fa9us.jpg

The ribbon is low and slightly lighter than the color of the felt
2zecrk0.jpg

The measures are as follows: open crown to 15 cm, curled brim to 9.5 cm and ribbon at 1.5 cm.
PM me if you are interesting in this hat
