I really like rayon lining in a leather jacket myself. My new ELMC G-1 has a cotton/rayon blend lining and it has a bit of a silky feel while still feeling quite durable. I think a black lining would look quite sharp in your russet jacket.I just ordered a LW 4.5+ oz FQHH Russet Brown TEST today with Brass hardware and a Brown Duck Canvas lining. Alas, it seems that Brown Duck Canvas is no longer available. Stuart was extremely helpful and quick in suggesting a lining replacement. We exchanged quite a few emails (my God is he quick in replying and resolving issues). He suggested either a Brown/Black Heavyweight pure NOS Rayon Satin or a Black Duck Canvas. I already have a LW 4.5+ oz FQHH Black Test with a Duck Canvas lining that I ordered last summer, which I use for riding my motorcycle. The Brown Test would not be used for riding. Durability and quality are my main concerns. As for the colour of the lining, I really don’t know. I usually match with the same colour tone: black with black, brown with brown. As you can see, I'm colour-matching challenged. Yes, my wife picks my ties too. Any suggestions anyone?

The jacket I've been waiting for, a black Arcadia from Good Wear.

Brown (or Black) Heavyweight pure NOS Rayon Satin or Black Duck Canvas.Which colors are available?

That's the one that I'm waiting for, in a dark Cordovan if possible. I've got the patience (kind of) and hopefully I will have the cash when the time comes. If I ever had the patience (and cash) to get a custom Good Wear it would be exactly this same jacket. Just perfect.

I have 2 LW Suburbans (Green and Black) with Black rayon. The rayon is quite thick, hence the term "super heavy". I have another LW Russet Brown Suburban with a sheepskin lining (no rayon or Duck Canvas). Thus, I'm at a loss on what to choose between the two (i.e. Brown or Black rayon), for a more "classic look", for a LW Russet Brown FQHH TEST. I'm not very good with color-matching!My suburban came with black rayon as standard and it works (even though I generally don't like mixing black and brown). I will try to post pictures later for you to see.
The rayon is very comfortable so I would recommend it as the lining over duck

I must admit I was a bit skeptical in the past when reading all the marketing hype about the Victory HH...but it’s true this leather is really nice & it feels great, it has really defined grain. This jacket had seen a few miles before it got to me so it’s soft and fully broken in and unfortunately there isn’t that really great HH smell of a new jacket all in all an eBay success story.

There's quite a few jackets I am watching at ebay rn, some nice Aeros in size 38-40 popped up in the past 2 days.. hopefully I'll be able to pick up one or two of them.. other than that, I'm still hunting for a green or otherwisely exciting jacket.
What size are you after?

I am a size 40 in most jackets, 22" pit to pit is comfort, 21,5" is the tightest I have (Vanson America) and I get away with anything up to 23,5" if the jacket can be tapered at the waist (belt, side straps, etc). So with Aero, I am a 40 in their Half-Belts and a 38 in their coats.
