My second submission the Homburg Nation...

It's another Stetson Royal De Luxe St. Regis, in brown. The hat, the bow, and the binding are all different shades of brown, which is what caught my eye initially. I'm not positive as to the year, but I think it's pre-1960... hopefully someone can correct me? There are a lot of tags and markings, but I couldn't find a date stamp anywhere.

It came with the standard center crease, but it seems MUCH larger that than my other St Regis... (taller crown, wider brim) that I had to mash it into a shape that I feel comfortable wearing. I'm used to a trilby most times, and this one feels like a cowboy hat! But I do love it, and wanted to share.

THAT is a sweet lid AND I like how you bashed it!!! You do see pictures of people wearing their homburgs that way! Looks awesome.....and my size too...if you ever get tired of it......

My new brown homburg, via Stefan the Dutch Connection. You always need one more, right? Posted here about a month ago, I fell in love. Now that this Borsalino Export Qualität in Dattero. The felt on this hat is a dream, very soft. I do like the shape of the brim of this Homburg and it will be perfect with a suit or casually pinched with my A-2 leather jacket. The store name is elusive to research, I thought it would show up in a FL search, but no. The old onion skin liner cover has flaked away, requiring some minor surgery. I couldn't be more pleased with the feel and lines of this Echter Borsalino. Being for the German market, would this still be a Lobbia or an Adenauer? Probably just a soft felt dress hat...
