Help, looking for a fedora

I'd like to get a waxed cotton or canvas hat, styled like a fedora in brown or olive. I don't want a Tilley because the grommets are too big. If you can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. Have a good week, everybody.

Here is a wax cotton safari-type hat. Most of those made that way tend to be more like outback hats than fedoras.

Hey, Mac!

Check out Cabelas and Village Hat Shop ... both on the web.

Village has a couple of versions at decent prices.

Welcome,

Sam

Hi

If you really want to grow to hate a waxed hat, buy one and then re-treat it within say 3 years after buying it. It becomes a greasy sticky mess. Ask me how I know???

If you're looking for a summer hat (since you're from Atlanta) you might consider a Sun body hat (www.sunbody.com). They shed sun great, and rain pretty well.

Under the hat types, look for the Indiana Jones heading and click on that
Among the fur and wool felts, there are a couple of heavy cotton hats.
