Anyone know where I can get a khaki uniform fedora (size 7 ¼) like the one worn by Hank Kimball, County Agent on Green Acres? I have some 8N tractor work to do and it just seems like the right hat.

My mother's 'Eagle Army-Navy Department Store' in Lake Worth, Florida sold those hats back in '65!

Holy smokes. Speaking of flashbacks, that is exactly like the hat my Dad got for me for our first fishing trip together when I was eight years old, 1958. He was adamant that no man should ever cast a fly without wearing a hat to protect eyes and ears. Still doing it 50 years later. Anyhow, thanks for the memory.:)

I bet Mr. Haney carries them. You might also call Sam Drucker. He might have to get Sarah your Hooterville operator to put a call through to Pixley or Bug Tussle for them but I'm sure they'd shoot it right over on the Cannonball with Floyd Smoot.

You know if you're in a hurry, Betty Jo's fiancee, Steve Elliott, is a pilot. He could probably fly them in from Bug Tussle. Sure, he's on Petticoat Junction, but Green Acres did spin off of that show. You could check with Uncle Joe.

My dad wore that style of hat, in Gray, for years.

It was the Big Mac brand from J.C. Penny's.

He wore it with the matching gray pants and shirt to work.

The hats worn by Alvy "Hank Kimball" Moore were made by the Bee Hat Company of St. Louis, MO.

I own two of these, one purportedly from the Green Acres costumer that bears a "Western Costume" mark.

Not sure of the model or style distinction but I'm still trying to run that down.
