Full sized guy looking for A-2

I have not been a size 38 since getting out of the service 30 years ago. Any suggestions for 'full cut' quality A-2 jacket makers, models or used sources?
Interested in comfort and not speed.

Gibson & Barnes makes very nice leather jackets with modern - i.e., big - sizing. I have a couple of 46Rs, and they handle my 42 waist just fine. (They're somewhat bigger than I need in the chest and arms, but that's true of everything that fits my gut! I'm only 5'8", but 220 lbs...)

The LL Bean jacket manufactured by Golden Bear has a full cut. It is roomy enough for me to comfortably wear body armor, and conceal my firearm. Legendary USA describes the Cockpit USAF Issue A-2 Flight Jacket as "added extra room in the chest area, so now you can order your correct size, and not worry about ordering one size larger".

I'm 210 lbs, 18" neck, 48" chest, 16" biceps, 34" arms, 36" waist, 30" inseam. The trim fit, or military fit, is very tight on me. But the LL Bean works fine.

Does Tucson have a local leather shop with a tailor? That may be your best bet. You may need to have something made to fit you. I'm spoiled. Here in The Bay Area, we've got a few local shops such as Mr. S, Johnson Leather, Just Leather, and Golden Bear. All these shops will measure you and ensure fitment. Ask your local MC, motor officer, or Highway Patrol where they get their leather.
