Looks great fit wise but thats a hack job on the sleeves.

Yeah, I'm getting a bit tired of crappy jobs. That's is disgusting and now I'm left with a jacket with all those needle holes...I'm really pissed off with them.

wow, time for leather putty and black dye. congrats with the fit certainly look much trimmer, that forearm is trim, it will get more relaxed when the lining allows.

Thank you! The forearm was already trim before but now it's a bit tighter and I didn't want that. I'll have a look at that leather putty later on after wearing the jacket for a while. What do you mean when the lining allows?

@Riu that jacket looks fabulous on you now!
Forget about the holes, wear it in the rain or shower and then with pride.
Those hole can be filled in if you want, but that fit can’t be improved.

I'm trying to forget all about the holes but it's just too fresh and it's stuck in my head for now :D I know there is a solution for everything, I was just hoping it won't be the case.

I'm sure man, it's not something that can be unseen but looks like @navetsea @handymike have some tips to try to make it less noticeable.

Indeed, it's good to know there's a workaround for this. I'll see how it shapes by wearing it more and then probably get back to those nasty holes.

That looks great already! Is the premium goat 1.3-1.4mm?
I do not know exactly. I mean, Shawn would have said something from 1.2-1.3 once. But if it's like my seal brown jacket, then that it fine for me.
But of course I will report as soon as I have the jacket.

I'm curious how it turns out, so that's the jacket with curved sleeves I take it. Did they actually make a new pattern or they had one and modified it? I'm thinking to have my other design in goat but not convinced yet.

I think I always get a new pattern because of my extreme dimensions lol

Most likely, I’m sure it’s a easier now for Shawn to make a pattern for you since he knows your measurements so well already :)

After the war...went to pick up the jacket today and here's the result, will never use those guys again and when I asked them why did they alter the sleeves below the elbow they said they thought that's how I wanted. You can see how graciously they've done it in the first two pictures. The jacket looks better now but the leather is messed up.

First the bad parts:

Then the fit:

Man, the fit is perfect. Enjoy it and wear it in good health

same thing happened to me with my Schott 141. Tailor did an insane job actually making that jacket look like a piece of art from the box it used to be. But he missed holes, didn't finish stitching. Was a mess. I got past it after about a week because the cut is just perfect. I haven't tried this "putty" but what I did do was dampen the holes and then blast them with a hair dryer to get them to cinch up. Now that's with Schott leather, don't know what will happen to the Five Star stuff, so proceed with caution. It didn't 100% fix it, but I'd say at least 70%.
