The grain looks fantastic. Is it the steer? I can see the softness with the quilting showing through. Maybe a flat liner would be in order with this hide. I’m interested in the fit pics.

I love the grain! It's steer indeed and it's beautiful. I'm really impressed by their work even though I'm not a specialist. Fit pics to come soon :)

Jacket looks superb. Really looking forward to the fit pics! Thought I might be done with CR’s but this has me really tempted. Leather looks great!

Thank you. There are a couple of things I noticed like the shoulders that are a bit pointy as suspected(not really bothered by those as it's not bad in my opinion). Also, I think I should have added just a bit more to the bottom seam(or maybe I'll get rid of the lockdown belly and muffin top and it will be better :D) but I was afraid it might flare.

I have a good range of motion so the jacket doesn't rise if I put my hands forward. I gave them the measurements thinking that I want to wear a sweater under the jacket and it's perfect.

I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm glad they have now my measurements as I can plan other designs.

Just arrived, it has the weird 5* smell everyone talks about, but I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. The front drop turned out better than I expected (as Tony predicted), though it could stand to be trimmed an inch, collar is WIDE, and workmanship is up to snuff.
Fit is spot on. The sleeves could be a wee longer but they are very serviceable. The grain on the leather is very good.
The leather however feels a bit plasticity and light. Supposed to be 1.3mm, hard to say if it is. It’s certainly pliable... not stiff at all.
My wife loves it, which will be extremely important as my forthcoming Aero jackets arrive!

Hard to tell how good the jacket really is 'cause you wear it too well but I guess ultimately, that's all that counts. It's kind of odd at the front but turned out much better than expected. Looks great on you & you look great in it.

Yup, it could lose an inch at the front for sure. Not sure it’s worth the risk of having a tailor whack at it though.

I like it, beautiful grain! After seeing the images you've posted before I was really hoping it's going to be a great fit and it is.
Enjoy it!

Much better than I thought! It should be easy to fix the front shape and trim the collar if you don't "Dig it."
I just measured everything. The drop is a little over 3”. Notwithstanding the front drop engineering dynamics, it explains why it looks off. The measurement pic Shawn sent me showed 2”. Oh well.

All you need is this...

The collar can be shaped with water, but the size is great!
Watch where you point that marker!!

Yeah I like the collar, It’s got 70’s vibes which is my favourite decade. Graduated high school, met my wife to be, graduated from Uni. Saw all the big name concerts. Good times!

Now do I risk hacking the front drop? It would be perfect with an inch or so less.

Looks good and is totally wearable. But why the difference in measurements? Is this low rent deception or a different way of measuring?

Cuffs look flared. Front drop is certainly extreme....
Cuffs are good, exactly what I spec’d. Leather lined probably makes them flare a bit, which I like. There are two buttons to tighten if I want to.
The only issue is the front drop, and whether I want to do something about it. I’ll muck about in it, see how I feel after a while.

The flare effect is caused by the double thickness of the cuff against the softer single ply sleeve. It goes away over time as the cuffs soften.
