I have a 2001 Silverado 2500 HD, standard cab long bed, with the 496 and Allison Automatic. Same boat, I can pull a house across town, but I get 8 city, 12 highway.

I used to have a '79 K-5 blazer. It got about 5 mpg, city or highway. I didn't buy it for the mileage anyway.

That's what we get as well.

Our lifted GMC Suburban 4x4 gets around 13 I think. I have to use the lowered auto-step lifts to get in.

Last thing: our dually sets off car alarms. Lol

13?
I'd better get my Saturn Vue checked out.
It turned 17 2 weeks ago, but close to 18 this week.
And I'm not the driver, my wife is, if she gets to the speed limit I'm shocked.

We've bored Mae again.
Hopefully tomorrow you'll have some pictures of the ice you can share.

You didn't strike me as the lifted, loud truck type of person lol
I'd actually love a vintage car. Two tone: teal and white. Too bad I don't live in WI; I know a car dealer.
One of my favorite MST3K shorts is Design for Dreaming.

I would assume you need a 4 wheel drive in Washington state.
Now that you've moved, you can't just leave it!
This is the one you got from a friend isn't it?
It is the one we got from a friend!
And no, we couldn't just leave it there. Four wheel drive is needed here, too.

Yeah that's a weird one isn't it?
Great ideas though.
You might find some Rifftrax shorts on youtube.
Cooking Terms and Shake Hands With Danger are their best.

Coming from the guy with an Eldorado and a Fleetwood Brougham in his stable.
Oh no you didn't.
You spoke ill of the Eldorado. :eeek:
I know, Eldorados are for people that didn't have a Lincoln dealership in town. ;)

What year Olds?
And don't say 80's because my relatives had 3, one in each trim level.
On the interstate, the V8 always sounded like it was straining to keep up.
