Thanks... I try :)

What upsets me is that people want to take issue in the public eye. It's happened more than once on here. If someone is upset with me or anyone else it would be nice if they would send a PM.

On that note and getting off this subject..... I'll post the list again

I did not fix it, but sometimes it changes....... you can see it here: http://boardreader.com/site/The_Fedora_Lounge_15000.html

I also think my post count is going to go down considerably starting today....

Don't worry about people like that Rue. I think people that do things like that truly hate themselves inside. There is no reason for someone to have to go out of their way to post a negative/ complaint on anybody's threads. If they don't like this thread, don't post here. Make their own darn thread and post all your complaints there. Sheesh! This thread has not hurt anybody. This is probably one of the most friendly threads I know and is far from being vain. Anytime I read the comments here, I see lots of people that really enjoy talking with one another. I thought the FL is supposed to be about community. I see that written everywhere on this thread. Thank you for that Rue. I owe you for that. :)

I love Facebook, for the fact that I have many circles of friends from moving around a lot and from working different jobs. It's nice to have a one-stop place to talk to all those people. I just go into hiding when the drama comes out lol

Facebook is a TOOL for the Big Brother to track you. Now the Big Brother I mention is not related to you...so don't think it is cool...oh no. But the Big Brother I am talking about, wants to "Daddy" you until you have some small ones come from it, and to do so, without any grease.

I have been looking at these numbers with some great amount of scientific theory being placed into motion. I had to make a cell phone call, to a friend that works in a special department that is assigned to CETA. As it is a rare ability to have someone like my friend that can take some of this time to even observe, let alone donate any time for me, on my behalf, to figure things out.

After several careful formula's being worked out, (the full scientific gauge from hypophysis, then to theory, and lastly fact) with some control models to make certain there are no side results that could have been due to error from any factor or consideration, this is what we came up with:

1); Some Fl members suck at high post numbers.

2); Some Fl members excell at high post numbers.

3); We ran out of pizza during the experiment.

The greatest thing is I have run across classmates, fellow Vets and friends that I haven't had contact with in years. We have now even met up on occassion. Most likely this wouldn't have happened except for Facebook..!

I liked Facebook for those same reasons. But the tracking and privacy invasion are getting ridiculous. At the end of this month they are starting something called Facebook Timelines. It will track everything you do online and report it to everyone you know. The article I was reading said Facebook will know you "better than you know yourself". I am not interested in that.

It is noted that facebook has already been "connected" to homeland security, the F.B.I, and the C.I.A., so that they may "monitor" anyone at any time. I think from a high tech "form" of knowing what to do and how to do it, that could allow them to actually get right into a person's computer itself. Not what I elect to have happen.

It is nice that some people enjoy having someone from the past, friends and or whatever, find someone via facebook. However, I have 6 phone numbers and a home address. Anyone I would want to keep in touch with has that information. If they cannot reach me at one of the three resident addresses I do have, I don't need to know them.
