Randy, you jinxed me! I’m getting tired of this. It’s making me doubt my faith in mankind.

it’s just not meant to be. Getting mad doesn’t help and I try to remain sanguine, but I’d never do this to a customer. I once left a zero off the price of a hat and sold it for one tenth of its value, but I honored the sale. Oh well, what can you do?
Give'im hell, Brent! Write him a nasty note, and give him a bad review. At least he will know there are consequences

Seen on ebay: This interesting palm card with hat care instructions on it. Not sure of the age.

Early 60s wide brim 7 1/8 Knox “Americana” long hair. Very good condition. Could fit slightly small 7 1/4 heads. I’m not a fan of long hairs, but with this color and proportions, I’m tempted to keep it. No moth damage, and combs easily to a high sheen in sun light.
4 3/4 crown at front pinch,
2 3/4 brim and 2” unique ribbon.
Sweatband opening: 7 15/16 x 6 1/4
I might consider trading for a very nice, comparable 40/50s Adam, or Lee in 7 1/4, even other brands if they are exceptional.
I traded one like this with Jim not long ago and we both came out happy.
It’s definitely an eBay victory.

Is this really '6o's? View attachment 235612 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1960s-STETSON-STRATOLINER-Fedora-Charcoal-Gray-7-3-8/114226151545?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

The band is reassuringly wide, though black and the size tag is square- gold on black both of which suggest a later date, perhaps?
What do ya'll think?
Been awhile RB.
Good to see you are still around.
The Moore’s Bulldog went to Alabama then to Missouri by the way.
Be well.

An 8th here, an 8th there, what's a few 8ths between friends!

Sorry Brent. I'm beginning to think CV19 is imparing people's ability to read and write.

A painless defeat. Can anyone spot what’s wrong with my 7 5/8 hat?
