I was watching that one out of curiosity, figuring it would go way out of my price range. Looks like the Borso equivalent of a Cavanagh edge? Very nice, perhaps worth the cost of a custom-made or rather more, but so many unknowns...unless you have it in hand or can return it. Well, someone really wanted that one! Hope it was worth it!

Anyways, I just won a pretty darn good lookin' Stetson "Flagship" just now with the box in excellent condition and an ad for it from '47! Hip-Hip HOORAY!!! It's the most I've ever paid for a hat thus far, but I sure thought I'd pay a lot more than I did. It'll definately get the Optimo treatment since I'm pretty sure it's been a looooong time since it's got a good cleaning and blocking. Check it out.

Material: Wool Felt

I saw a beaver mix hat labeled as wool felt recently. It wasn't pure beaver, but it was up there.

E-bay sellers really have no clue, even when it's labeled in the hat and clearly visible on photos.

Honestly I don't know why they don't just put "felt" when they're not sure, which is always.
