@Carlos840 Wow! that back panel really does look great!.. are you doing your usual morning water spray down and wear dry routine?

Yep, been doing it every day since i got it.
With all my work canceled and the "stay home" policy i am basically wearing the jacket all day at home, spraying it throughout the day.
Also every time i take if off during the day i hold it by the back of the collar, lift it shoulder height then drop it with all its weight on the couch, do that like 30 times every time you take the jacket off, that's 300 in a day if you take it off 10 times!
On day one when i did that it fell and stood up on its own, now it actually is starting to lose it's rigidity and it just collapses.
Doing that really helps the back panel soften up much faster.

I refuse to believe i am the only one on this forum wearing a leather jacket at home...
I mean come on, can't go out, beautiful new jacket staring at me, this baby isn't going to break in on its own!

I'm not that hardcore... Even now, nobody to see and laugh, I can't do it. Maybe I'll try when I get another one, provided Stu ever finishes the damn thing. The jacket looks 10x better than it did before! Really molded to you, didn't think it'd happen this quick. Looks great. You need to get rid of some jackets now. Doubt it you'll still be wearing all of 'em with this thing around.

I really want inflatable air dancer to break in my jackets, just let it dance wackily in the sun, would be fun to watch too.

By the end of the 30days challenge, i polish it with beeswax and lots of elbow greasing, i let others do that youtube instant coffee hand mixer foam challenge thingy, i rather buffing my jacket for the same energy wasting. And when the sun shines just right it glows peacock, no need for instagram filters :D. Quite a long way and 2 washing machined dripping wet worn to dry journey from its humble cow sofa leather origin i might say.

I've

I've always used mink oil and neatsfoot oil.
Nice, i also use mink oil on my belt. Useful to make it more pliable, not on this jacket its already soft and due to finishing the leather is already quite water resistant. Just needing a sheen glow to make it looks better (= looks like a more expensive leather :p)
