He had that “I’m a nice guy” face. I didn’t remember his name, but I did remember his face. I remember seeing him in a number of shows, but I can’t remember what they were.

A member of one of Canada's wealthiest families has died. Galen Weston Sr., aged 80, was the grandson of George Weston who in the 1880s began what is now the largest grocery and food conglomerate in Canada, Loblaws and Weston Foods. They also own Selfridge's in London. The family is worth approx. $8.7 billion USD.

His wife, Irish born Hilary Weston, served as Ontario's Lieutenant-Governor ( Queen's representive) from 1997 to 2002.

Circumstances if true appear truly sad. Former child star Lee Aaker, from The Adventures of Rin-tin-tin in the 50s, has died aged 77. Apparently "alone and unclaimed", a fellow child star now advocate is helping to get USAF benefits for his burial in Arizona.

Yeah, great stuff. I had a subscription to Mad circa 1966 to 1972 - and still have a stack of those issues in my magazine archives. So many young folks have no idea how important an influence Mad was on virtually all comedy, in all mediums, that followed it.

It is an expression used by my parents. Correct your own grammar mistakes, and they are many.

Bro,......this was my family's 'go to' expletive. No afront, criticism or correction inferred nor intended. Sad to hear of her passing. She is a great actress.

In 8th grade, I got held after school for singing one of those songs in the hallway. The teacher (actually our school librarian) asked why I was there. After I explained, she told me to "go forth, and sing no more (but bring that issue in tomorrow so I can see it)". Best detention ever.
