I'm a new guy on the forum. Thanks a lot in advance for welcoming me among your distinguished crowd.
I couldn't find any "presentation" topic so here I go:
My name's Emmanuel, i'm a French dude living in France, married to an American wife. I work as a nurse in a psychiatric clinic.
I'm passionate about History, classic literature, clothing, antique firearms, old motorbikes, guitars and vintage video-games.
I fancied a really nice A2 for a long time, but somehow couldn't justify spending a huge amount of cash for one (low wage job). My Cooper A2 was quite trustworthy so far, still I longed for something more authentic. Things changed last week when I pressed the trigger on an Ebay listing which caught my attention.
So here it is, my new "used" A2 from Aero leather, it's a model 42-15142-P in russet Goatskin, size 46.
I'm so happy about it.
I must say that I was extremely worried the jacket wouldn't fit me, as I read those repros are very tight fitting compared to modern ones.
It was my lucky day because this jacket actually feels like a second skin!
Price was right and it has been worn quite a fair bit by the previous owner.
There is light scuffing on the seams, however it still looks good and there aren't any rips, stains or tears.
I'm now thinking about saving money for another one!
