1950s Hercules by Sears D-Pocket Steerhide Motorcycle Jacket

Hi guys,

I picked this up a couple weeks ago and wore it a few times and love it, but want to pass it on because the fit isn't quite right. Label says size 44. Measurements are as follows:

Pit to pit: 23"
Waist: 21"
Shoulder to cuff: 24"
Center back collar to sleeve cuff: 36"
Shoulder to shoulder: 20"
Length from shoulder to hem: Front-24"
Back-21"

It's a gorgeous jacket. Talon zips, everything works. Lining is in pretty good condition. Some loose threads, but otherwise pretty mint condition.

I have the exact same jacket in a 42 that fits perfectly. The P2P is 23” on the nose. Would you verify the P2P of your jacket? I would like another, larger one to allow for minimal layering.

Would you be up for a trade? I have a 50s Windward MC jacket with a 22” P2P.

I measured the pit to pit and it looks like its more in the range of 24.5" to 25". I'm attaching 4 photos of how I measured, so you can take a look. Unfortunately, I can't trade at this time. I need the money because I'm going back to school next month. Lmk if you're still interested or have any more questions. Thanks so much.
