Today, I was out looking for cars. I went with my father-in-law. Stopped at a used car lot and test drove a couple of Ford Focuses(sp?). The sales guy goes with us, and as we are driving around he says, seemingly out of no where "You know, you'll only be able to get a couple of bodies in this...
Thanks! Yes, the Stormy Kromer is made not only in the USA, but right here in good ol' Michigan. It's a very common site at the rural winter events around here. Gun Shows, Tractor Supply Co., etc. Not quite as warm as a nice stocking cap, but pretty close.
Ditto, Dean.
Well, it's most certainly cap weather here today with 8" of snow on the ground and maybe 4 to 6 more to come.
First, my Stromy Kromer. Great hat, I recommend it to everyone:
Second, a cap that my In-Laws brought me back from the Emerald Isle:
I like to ware my hat low I guess, because the only shape that works, with out being popped out, is is a nice tear drop with a medium front pinch. Centerdent, diamond, even cattleman seem to deep, and use up more space then my massive gord will allow. My Campdraft has a little more room, and I...
Great hat mustang. I have the same hat in carbon grey, and it's my every day driver. What part of the state are you from? I'm north of Grand Rapids, in the Rockford area.
Every year when my wife and I go get the Christmas tree, after we get back she makes a Cranberry pie. This all arose during our first Christmas when I said that I loved cranberries so much that I'd eat them in a pie. She said there was no such thing. Well 2 min. later the internets had found...
Really well, Dean. Thank you so much for you prayers. She has some feeding issues that are going to take a year or so to deal with, but it's a lot better then where we were at. If you go to the flickr page, you can see how far she has come.
When we last left our intrepid hero he was awaiting the return of his new Panama hat. Would it fit? Would he find shade in the summer? Would he save the world? We now return to the story:

I'm fascinated with the responses here. Public speaking has never been difficult for me, from high school right to today. I was even in plays in high school even. However, I think to a certain extent that had a negative effect on my popularity, as that ability in guys is, or at least seemed...
I have an additional data point to add. I work in the seating industry. The company I work for has been around for 120 years. Looking at the older theater, stadium, bus and office seating, you can most assuredly see a steady increase in seat width, and height. When I started 7 years ago, the...
Three Piece Suit. Brown Pin Stripes. It's a 42R, 36 x 30 pants. Wool. Doesn't fit me. I won it on OFAS for $0.99, plus $11.00. I have to make a profit on this, so price is $12, shipping included to CONUS. No holes, smells, obvious stains. If it doesn't fit, or you don't like it, you can...
Yep, I have one as well. A great warm hat, but if I am doing any kind of labor with it on it gets pretty sweaty. I prefer my Stormy Kromer or just a knit watch cap for activity.
Sorry I didn't answer your question Laurence. I don't know the WPI, as I sent back my first one, added some addtional money and said "Give me the best you can get for X". It's a Montecristi weave, Cuenca "Rio Plata" block.
I'm sending the hat back to Robert today, and he is sending it on...
