There has been a bit of discussion on this topic here

Driving? Heck, as far as I'm concerned, driving is the same as being out in public on a city sidewalk. Would I wear my hat riding a bike? Yeah, if it would stay put, I would.

Joseph Abboud also does an 100% combed Egyptian cotton shirt that is excellent. It is by far one of my favorite shirts. I think they run something like $85-$100 depending on the variety. However, from what I recall they were all spread collar or point collar. Nothing to long.
Ok, here's the rest:
This is my Hukel homburg
This is my first fedora. I can't tell you who made it or what color it is because under one light, it's green, under another it's gray. No kidding. My friends and I call it the magic fedora and I have a matching green/grey wool scarf...
I have some more pics on the way, but for some reason, photobucket is being tricky. I'll need to reload a few photos when I get home. Until then, here is a picture of my navy Biltmore Senator I acquired from Bond's of Beaverdale in Des Moines. That classic shop has since closed...:(
I checked out your link (as well as the one in your previous post) and neither was clear enough to provide the information I'm seeking.
The London Lounge is interesting but it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I'm at work most of the day so I'm 'technically' not supposed to be in...
I've looked over the volumes of threads regarding suit fabric but I couldn't find much to answer my questions. I would like some comments, suggestions and wisdom on various fabric types and qualities from your experience. I know wool is probably the standard here and I have no qualms with that...
Here are my straws starting from finest and ending in...well, most easily worn:
The one on the left is a Montecristi fino, on the right is a Cuencas something...not sure. It's a moderate hat, but looks nice with a few suits! :)
On the left is a straw golfing hat I picked up from a...
Boy, I agree! It pains me to see that stuff. If it were passed down to me over so many years, and even if I didn't know what to do with it, I would at least keep it for my next in kin.
You can try this or the cobbler. I only mention that again because my shoe guy did it for free and it took him two minutes (not counting the polish I had him do as well). I think most cobblers would do it for free. But then again, with the price of gas anymore, you may want to d i y...
As I stated earlier, I've already looked around on the board but most of the information was either redundant or opinion.
Here's what I mean: most of the loungers say wool felt doesn't stand up to rain as well, isn't as silky (more coarse, in fact), stinks after some time (having been wet...
Really? What school did he go to? What's his name? That's very interesting, I guess I wasn't aware there was a school so close. There probably used to be at one time but everything gets torn down in Des Moines.
I've been looking over the board for some info on this and I've seen a few things that seemed helpful but I'd like a straight answer to put my mind to rest.
I realize Wool felt is inferior to Fur felt.
I realize Wool felt is also less expensive than Fur felt.
Could you guys give me a few...
