After reading through some older posts as well as more recent, I thought it would be nice to see where we stand on purchasing the majority of our suits/dresses/accessories, etc.
1. Vintage Only = aged clothing, probably used or NOS.
2. Thrift Store Finds = could be old or new, you're looking...
I'm somewhere around a #2:
2) Vintage Inspired: This person wears modern clothing that seems vintage or has a vintage flair based on how it is put together. This person probably wears a lot of Ralph Lauren suits and leafs through the J. Peterman catalogue hoping that he will copy Cary Grant's...
Yep. Makes me wonder why someone really bothers to go to that extent to look messy. :eusa_doh:
Honestly? It just doesn't make sense to me. There are far easier and cheaper methods to looking unkempt.
Bing is actually pretty classy here, and most likely comfortable.
Double Breasted seersucker with peak lapels (or quite possibly light summer wool with quarter lining), white boater, good neck tie, maybe some coordinated spectators and you would be looking real sharp. Drop a quarter and you'd...

I think my problem is that I would be better off living in a Montana cabin with nothing but great expanse on each side, and room...
I feel your pain there!
Although, when I used to be in the business, they would eventually move from Moscato d'Astis to sweet rieslings, to fruity chardonnays, to merlot - and then back to beer, forever to swear off wine. lol
Perhaps the same thing could happen here? "punk"...
