Alright, got through the rest now that I'm home. Wow! There were some really good pics that I'd missed. I have to add a few more favorites to my list:
70, 66 and 58.
Take a look at 58: does that not just speak volumes? Really nice pics!
I'm not trying to raise eyebrows or be foolish..
MLK Jr., Marquis de Sade and Abe Lincoln - They seem like inappropriate and strange bedfellows but I've long respected these men for their determination in the face of mounting opposition, their ability to sway entire populations by words alone...
I couldn't get through all the pictures (up to about 25) because they were taking too long to load on my fidgety work computer. I'd say 6 and 17 were my favorites. All are excellent! Thanks for the link! :eusa_clap
lol
How unfortunate. You'd think most in the cobbling business would at least have an idea. Did you describe it to him, and then he slapped his head and say, "Oh you mean [insert different term] soles? Of course we do those!"
I'd have to agree with this, as I think I would end up with an irregular pattern to accompany stripes.
As BK has mentioned, it's hard to find a tie that doesn't go with the suit. Good luck!
To echo theinterchange, I'm not sure why anyone would want to emulate someone like that. And I don't think people are so stupid that they couldn't see a character that acts like an ass is, afterall, just an ass. [huh]
I guess some folks just want to be dressed well and have enough money to...
I think the first hat is relatively decent, although I can't help but want to straighten the ribbon a little, and the crease/crown/brim aren't a very appealing combo. The second just looks silly, and could probably be "fixed" with a new ribbon. The final stingy brim isn't all that bad - if it...
Have any of you seen the program on the History Channel where some computer guys were able to lift a 3d image of the face/body that's on the shroud? Then they were able to add color, hair, etc. If they were accurate, it would have revealed the face of Jesus (should you believe in the accuracy...

DIY: Cufflinks Cheap
Unfortunately, there was another thread (which may have been lost with our last major crash) that detailed how to turn earrings and other pieces of jewelry into cufflinks. That would have been most helpful! I couldn't find it after extensive...
I know my home state isn't too hot on the topic, but then again we have farmers that are real vintage and still living it. [huh]
Iowa also has lots of old stuff left over that hasn't been utterly demolished (give it time  ), but most anything vintage is a hidden gem. The good news...
I'm not trying to be clever, or sarcastic...
...but who's Don Draper? A Google search turns up Mad Men, which is what you've all basically been saying. So I guess it's safe to assume he's a character on that show?
I don't have cable, and I don't watch TV with the rabbit ears either. And...
Although I disagree in theory (I can't attest to what you've experienced first hand), I would like to build off this statement.
Yes, getting a new crease into a pre-creased hat takes a little work, but it's not all that difficult. You need to factor in a number of variables.
1. Does the...
