I'm not much of a collector, thus I don't really have many rare editions. I do have three "rare" copies that I'm most proud of, although they are likely easy enough to find.
1. Mein Kampf - Adolf Hitler, 1st full English edition released 1939
2. Western Civilization Condemned By Itself -...
Of the two (AK-47/SKS), I think I'd pick the AK-47. There are solid models to be found.
However, I would be more inclined to get one of the M24 sniper systems based on the Remington 700. Or, if you're not willing to shell out $3k, you could easily build your own for around $1000. It's in...
I didn't particularly like the way this was written, to be honest. And I have to agree with the others; this isn't so much a comeback as a blip. [huh]
Thanks for the article, good fodder for discussion! Who knows, maybe hats will be popular again someday (but probably not).;)
Although not very vintage, and more than likely not to the tastes of many loungers, I could recommend a plethora of obscure modern artists.
Arcturus - Norwegian metal group heavily influenced by classical music, including Mozart, Beethoven, etc. They are metal lite, if you will, and more...
Tell me if I'm on the same page as you, Lizzie -

Some people call it "warmth" or "soul"; both describe the overall corpus of a piece that is lost almost entirely...
I believe the only station in IA that plays 30's-40's is a single NPR manifestation @ 101.7 FM. Unfortunately, it's based out of the University of Norther Iowa, which comes in a little foggy some days. :(
I think this was an issue during the move from vinyl to tape cassette and later to compact disc. I've heard many people talk about the massive stereo systems they used to own in the 70's that could rip the windows from the walls, but only playing vinyl. When CDs became popular, some aspect of...
I loved Le Samourai!
And I just added Rififi to my watch list. Talk about nice looking hats and suits! And the stories are just excellent. I loved how sparse Le Samourai was.
Yeah, I'll be sending my first letter tonight after I get home. The agency I'm going for is my first pick, and probably my best fit. They're asking for a few chapters, full synopsis, plus info about me - or in otherwords, they're already not like 97% of the other agencies (i.e. they're asking...
I'm somewhere in between a 2 and 3.
I'm a 48-50L, 17.5x37 shirt, 7 5/8 hat, and size 14 D shoe- it's hard finding anything even relatively vintage. :eusa_doh:
